Second try. First try was deleted accidentally. Probably all for the best. I was babbling, not blogging.
Tiny rural library with little internet access within 5 miles. Our savvy patrons sit in our parking lot to use wi-fi. Our high schoolers download music, use facebook and flickr. I'm not sure how quickly the 2.0 will come to our branch, but I do realize that it can't happen if the staff doesn't know what it is all about. I'm not ready to embrace L2, but I'm not kicking it down the stairs, either. We will continue to use what works to help our patrons access information and entertainment, the L2 tools or circled newspaper book lists. Whatever works. Enough blogging- on to Thing 3!
